Guidelines for preparing abstracts and presentations
Oral presentation
An oral presentation consists of an individual research report or topic presented in 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of discussion. The abstract should be unstructured (without subheadings) and must clearly state the aim and/or research questions, methodology, and main findings. Where appropriate, the abstract should also include an interpretation of the results and the key conclusions and/or implications. Abstracts must be 200–300 words in length and include 3–5 keywords.
Poster presentation
Poster dimensions must not exceed B1 format (707 × 1000 mm). If the poster presents results of a scientific study, the structure and content of the abstract should follow the same guidelines as for oral presentations.
Symposia
A symposium consists of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 presentations by different authors, thematically integrated into a single session. The total duration may range from 60 to 90 minutes, with each individual presentation lasting the same as a standard oral presentation (10 minutes + 5 minutes discussion). The symposium chair submits the symposium proposal, which must include the title of the symposium, information about the chair, a symposium abstract (200–300 words) describing and justifying the thematic focus and providing an overview of all included presentations, 3–5 keywords, and a list of all presentation titles and their respective authors, in the planned order of delivery. Authors submit the abstracts for their individual presentations within the symposium themselves, indicating that the presentation is part of a symposium. The abstract must be prepared in accordance with the guidelines for oral presentations.
Round table
A round table is a discussion on a relevant professional or research topic, lasting 60 or 90 minutes, organised and submitted by the session chair. The abstract (200–300 words) must describe and justify the topic and outline the contributions of each participant. It must also include 3–5 keywords and the planned duration.
Workshop
A workshop is an activity organised and facilitated by the proposer, lasting 30, 60, or 90 minutes. The abstract must include a brief description of the goal, expected learning outcomes, planned activities, and the proposed duration (60 or 90 minutes). Any limitations regarding the number of participants or other special requirements should be explicitly stated. Abstracts must be 200–300 words and include 3–5 keywords.
Presentations of books, psychological assessment instruments, publications and other works
In the activity proposal, please include basic information about the organiser and/or presenter, as well as a list of other active participants, each accompanied by the same essential information required for the organiser/presenter. You must also indicate the duration of the presentation (maximum 60 minutes). The abstract must contain detailed information about the publication, assessment instrument, or work being presented, along with any additional relevant details. The abstract should be 200–300 words in length and include 3–5 keywords.
